So last night was the night for the primetime Emmy’s 2010…MY FAVORITE TIME OF YEAR HAS BEGUN!!! I love this time of year because it give me a chance to weigh in on my thoughts…possibly helping brides choose one of the gorgeous looks from hair to makeup.
I must say that my two favorite hair styles for the night were Kim Kardashian and Eva Longoria! Kim Kardashian went with very simple from the front, and I love the little be of separation to break it up. I cannot see the back of it, but I can imagine a few simple braids pinned up in the back would added a bit of drama to the look.
You can never go wrong with a low, loose, chignon.
Eva Longoria’s low chignon is fabulous. I love the way it softly frames her face without being in her face. This hair style is perfect for brides because it adds drama to the front for pictures. Most bridal updo’s are very “plain” in the front, but Kim Kardashian and Eva Longoria’s hairstyles give the front a different twist.
I also am really liking the hairstyles that are all down, with loose waves, and casually swept to the side (not a side ponytail). There is something very classic about it. This style would be perfect for weddings anytime after October and before May in Savannah.
When choosing a wedding hair style we never want to forget to consider the weather conditions of the wedding location. Savannah is known for it’s humidity. That is why I love the Kim Kardashian look, because it is perfect for the Savannah weather, using the natural texture of the hair (just polishing it up with a curling iron).
